Job Description

What the Job Entails

Notch is the AI operating system built for insurance, financial services, and fintech. We deploy purpose-built agents that resolve complex, regulated workflows compliantly and at scale, and we are already live with some of the world’s largest carriers and fintechs. Backed by top-tier VCs, Notch raised a $30 million Series A in March 2026, led by Headline.

As a Strategic Account Executive at Notch, you’ll be at the center of our go-to-market efforts, helping enterprise customers unlock the value of our platform while playing a foundational role in building our sales motion from the ground up. In this role, your core mandate is to deal with BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) customers in England.

You’ll own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, working closely with technical and executive stakeholders across large, complex organizations. Beyond closing new business, you’ll also partner with existing clients and internal teams to expand our footprint and drive long-term revenue growth.

This is a role for someone with strong commercial instincts, sharp judgment, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. You won’t be stepping into a mature category with a well-worn playbook. You’ll help define how a novel product is sold, how complex buying journeys are navigated, and how Notch grows.

ABILITIES & SKILLS

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute the full sales process - Manage the full enterprise sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and close. Drive momentum across complex deals and maintain strong control of the process from start to finish.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders - Develop credibility with technical buyers, business leaders, and executive decision-makers across large organizations. Navigate multi-threaded buying journeys and build relationships that move deals forward.
  • Partner with internal teams to win complex deals - Work closely with product, solutions, and leadership to tailor messaging, shape demos, and support pilots that align with customer needs. Help translate product capabilities into clear business value.
  • Build pipeline and share market learnings - Continuously develop pipeline while capturing insights from the field. Bring feedback back into the organization to improve messaging, refine targeting, and strengthen the overall sales motion.
  • Represent Notch in the market - Support in-person meetings, industry events, and conferences to build relationships, create opportunities, and strengthen Notch’s presence across insurance, financial services, and fintech.
  • Help shape the sales playbook - As one of the early sales hires, you’ll help define how we sell. That means improving processes, surfacing patterns, and turning what works into repeatable structure as the company scales.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Candidate must be England based, preferably in London
  • Previous experience with BFSI is a must
  • 6+ years of quota-carrying sales experience closing complex enterprise deals with $1M+ ACVs
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, including multi-threading, procurement, legal, and executive alignment
  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to clearly articulate value in strategic customer conversations
  • A highly competitive, motivated, and adaptable mindset
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, flat organization with high ownership
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities at once
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders across large enterprises

The Extras We Love

  • Experience selling technical or emerging products in a new category
  • Experience working in startup or high-growth B2B environments
  • Comfort collaborating closely with product and technical teams during the sales process
  • Experience helping build sales motions from scratch

Why This Role Matters

Notch is scaling quickly, and this role will help define how we grow. As one of our early Account Executives, you won’t be following a mature playbook. You’ll be helping write it.

Every deal you close, every insight you surface, and every process you improve will shape how we build the company’s revenue engine. This is an opportunity for someone who is energized by ambiguity, excited by novel technology, and motivated by the chance to make a real impact early.

If you want to move fast, help build a category, and play a major role in shaping Notch’s go-to-market motion, we’d love to talk.
