It was a long week in Omaha and New York. Back-to-back sessions, packed booths, and more coffee than anyone will admit to. It peaked with a great day at Global Insurtech Summit, and then we headed a few blocks over to close it out properly.
On October 22, we took over a private room at Zuma on Madison. Robata off the grill, sushi from the counter, sake poured family style, and a room full of executives who were done with panels for the day and ready to actually talk.
That’s the part worth remembering. For all the talk about AI, models, and automation, insurance has always been a people business. Deals get done on trust. Ideas move because someone shares what worked, and what didn’t, with someone they respect. The best conversations of the week weren’t on a stage. They were across the table.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible night together.
